Uses for Rminder
Can't find a reason to send our reminders? Here are a couple of comments our users sent in:
Anonymous tough love
"Just wanted to say thanks for creating this service. There's this guy at work who I adore but he has one little problem... we debated back and forth until finally we just sent him a rminder, 'Tony, we love you -- lighten up on the cologne'.
— Sandy
What we want to know is, does Tony laugh it off, take it seriously, or double the dosage out of spite? :)
Surprise party for Grace at Spagos
"I think you create an interactive voice invitation that you could send out to groups for events like birthdays or get-togethers!"
— Ken
Hey Ken — these features have been brewing for a while but didn't make it to our initial release. What we plan to do is to offer interactive reminders where the result will be something to the effect of:
"Ken would like to invite you to Grace's party at Spagos, press '1' to confirm, press '2' to decline, or press '3' to connect to Ken now."
For now you will have to send out individual reminders until we are satisified that these interactive reminders are easy to understand and use.
Get that goal
"I received my second reminder a few minutes ago, 'Karen would miss you'. I've been a heavy smoker for 9 years. Karen is my 4-year old who I want to stick around for."
— Matt R.
We don't really have a response for this one, because all of our jaws were on the floor. With all the late night coding sessions, we almost forgot that there are very real people behind these broadband connections. Good luck Matt!
Can't make it in the morning?
"I just set a reminder for my buddy, 'Chris is sleeping in tomorrow morning - carpool with Dave' so he doesn't swing by or call me!!"
— Chris
